This is it. The last weekend before I go back to school. Back to the daily grind. Sob, sob. I have another year of juggling an interesting timetable. I've been assigned to teach Gr. 5 - 8 Core French, JK - 4 Music, JK - 4 Computers, Gr. 7 Science, and Gr. 7 Geography. Being super organized is the key to keeping it all straight!
Knitting and dyeing slowed down this past week as I was at the school all week moving into a new room and getting ready for the first day with students. I was tired! That meant simple knitting in the evenings and the Beekeeper's Quilt got pulled out to work on again.
It is slowly growing into something larger. Slowly.
I'll share another of my finds from summer yard sales. This is a wooden tube for knitting pins. The original needles were not with the case, but I have loads of really old needles from my Great Aunt that fit in the case. Imagine buying knitting needles like this instead of the plastic cards that needles come on today. Very cool.
