The Thanksgiving holiday went by so quickly. The weather was chilly but not too bad for the visit from my brother and his partner. Dear husband was away moose hunting where it was even chillier. Snow! I don't want to even think about snow yet!
We took Dusty puppy to the lake for a final swim. He didn't seem to mind the cold!
And we finally finished what I lovingly call, 'the puzzle from hell'. My dad started this jigsaw puzzle three years ago this fall. It was without a doubt the most difficult jigsaw puzzle ever. Over 1000 pieces, the pieces were the strangest shapes, and the colours horrible to distinguish. It's been covered and moved countless times for parties and during dad's illness. We didn't lose a single piece!
It's finally done! Packaged up and sent for framing.
Christmas socks are on the needles. These are from Schoppel Wolle. The yarn is wound so the socks can be knit two at a time. Very cool! It's supposed to stripe as the yarn progresses. So far mine are just a nice variegated pattern.
Knitting time is about to come to a screeching halt again. Progress reports are due at school in a week and a half. Hard to imagine that we've been at school long enough to complete a progress report. Because of my wild and varied schedule this year, I have approximately 350 reports to complete. Totally crazy.
