This last week of school was crazy. We had our protest of Bill 115 on Monday, buses sent home at noon on Thursday because of a snow storm, and then buses cancelled on Friday because the storm continued. The week was short but the days seemed incredibly long. So much excitement for Christmas from small children!
I'm ready for a rest. It isn't going to come quite yet. We're having Christmas at our house this year and there are many preparations still ahead. Including last minute knitting.
One pair of socks are completed and ready to go.
Toe up but with my Hunters' Socks ribbing - 3 mm needles and 64 stitches. The yarn is from Wellington Fibres, 50 % Mohair and 50 % Wool. Very toasty!
The frantic knitting will be on the Conwy socks. I'm not quite there yet.
It's my own fault. I got sidetracked with scarves.
A frilly scarf for me! To match my new winter coat.
And another scarf for me with the very precious Tilli Tomas yarn.
Must finish Conwy socks. Gorgeous silk-with-beads yarn must wait. Must finish socks.

Peace and joy this holiday season.

The two scarves are absolutely beautiful - my favourite colour!
Have a very Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!

Tilli Tomas silk with beads - Christmas came early! Lucky you! Enjoy the holidays. We're still missing my dad as I'm sure you're missing yours at this time of year, but I'm lucky to have my mom, sister, and niece here for a few days. Hosting is hectic but fun.
