It's been a very quiet end to the holiday. Dear husband was away curling and I spent most of the weekend on the couch nursing an awful cold. It's been over a year since I've had a cold so I guess I was due. It's not going to be great starting back to school and feeling this miserable.
I did finish some knitting before the holiday ended. A pair of mittens. Very strange looking mittens ...
until it's revealed that they are Beer Cozy Mittens!
They are loosely based on this pattern (Ravelry link), but with different yarn, needle size, and the matching regular mitten.
I like them so much that I've started another pair. A man sized pair. I'm hoping that I can find the time once school starts to actually write up the pattern. I always think I'll have more time than I do.
Tomorrow - back to school - with a cold. So not fun.
