The month flew by with curling and report cards. Very little time for blogging or knitting!
Another pair of beer cozy mittens are finished and gifted away.
These are man size ones. Still no pattern. Eventually. Maybe when the curling season slows down!
There always has to be time for walks with Dusty and his girl friend. Today was perfect. Mild temperatures and snow machine packed trails. We all had a wonderful time.
More curling next weekend, too. Winter doesn't seem to be my prime knitting time!

Beer cozy mittens. Aren't you clever! Much faster than the boyfriend sweater.
I know what you mean about the time disappearing. With my Dad being sick and taking the Grandkkids to Florida for a week, my head is spinning.
We wathched curling all weekend with The Tankard being on. Glad Glenn Howard won but he didn't do it by much.

Having fun, I hope.

watching curling or playing it? It's been years since I've been on the ice, but I still keep up with everything - love that Glenn is going back to the Brier!
And you are the reason I have been knitting beer cozy mitts -they are perfect!

We watch a lot of curling, but both my husband and I spend the better part of our winters actually curling ourselves. Another bonspiel this weekend for me. Last weekend was my first weekend off in three weeks!
A friend of ours was at the Northern Ontario playdowns. Sadly, he lost. Great extra end for the Howard rink at the Ontario playdowns. Wayne Middaugh is fantastic to watch.
